Second Workshop on Methodologies for Official Statistics

On 6-7 December 2023 Istat will host the [istat.musvc5.net]Second Workshop on Methodologies for Official Statistics [istat.musvc5.net] [istat.musvc5.net].

The event has the objective to bring together researchers in the field of official statistics methodologies to promote the exchange of ideas and good practices.

Mainly focused on understanding the impact of new data sources (big data and in general non-probability data) on methodologies and quality in official statistics production, the workshop is organized in four sessions:

SESSION 1 –  Methodologies and designs for multi-source processes with non-probability data;

SESSION 2 – Innovative data for official statistics: methodological challenges;

SESSION 3 – Quality for non-traditional sources;

SESSION 4 – Machine learning methods in survey statistics (session in collaboration with IASS)
