Cochran-Hansen Prize 2023

We are pleased to announce two recipients of the Cochran-Hansen 2023 prize for the best paper on survey research methods submitted by a young survey statistician from a developing or transition country: Alejandra Arias-Salazar (Costa Rica) “Small Area Estimates of Poverty Incidence in Costa Rica under a Structure Preserving Estimation (SPREE) Approach”, and Ziqing Dong (China) “Linearization and Variance Estimation of the Bonferroni Inequality Index”.
